How Come Sony Computer Entertainment Games Dont Work On Ps2????

It doent play Gameshark or Rogue Galaxy. It always says “Disc Read Error” and They are like new and say that.

Maybe the games are messed up or the PS2 is dirty. I have a PS2 and it plays all my playstation one games. I don’t have either of those so I can’t check.

If you have one of the first PS2 units to ever come out, you might need a system software update to play the newer games. Either that, or try to get a new slim PS2. That’s what I did so I could play Final Fantasy X-2 when it came out. It wouldn’t work at all on my old original PS2. Since Rogue Galaxy came out earlier this year, that might as well be the case.
As for GameShark… I haven’t used one for PS2.
